Project S.A.V.E thrives on helping others, but we need to know the community needs. Every 2nd Saturday of the month we want to come together and canvass neighborhoods and spread the information. We will hand out brochures, cards, and resources. Want to take it a step further? Sign up for our street outreach, which you will run a table at events and answer questions about Project S.A.V.E!
A peer specialist is an individual who is able and willing to self-identify as a person and use their experience to help. They are individuals who will use their personal experience and apply it to core skills and knowledge to be a peer-to-peer support. Peer specialist interests will have to go through an interview and training experiences in order to be considered.
Want to lead a discussion? Feel very passionate about a topic and want to give a presentation? Program guides are individuals who will be able to choose a topic for a month and be able to provide resources and information to the community and social media family. This individual will be responsible for hosting at least one(1) event during their month, that provides an opportunity for the community to come together.
